  Friday, May 10, 2002Cats don't nip
I am here to report that the catnip tucked into a planter along with a variety of other plants, has not to date been attacked by our cats or neighbohood felines meandering past.

I theorize that one reason they've left it alone is that it is among some other highly scented plants, including rosemary.
I made a try at planting catnip some years ago, and each day I put out small plants, the next morning found them eaten down to the ground. I figure once the plants are well established, cats won't do any permanent damage.
