Mating?
This morning, as I sat on the porch with my breakfast of coffee and granola (with fruited yogurt - delicious!) I saw a lot of birds flying about in the upper story of trees. I've seen birds acting like that when they were going after fruit, such as cherries. This was in a nut tree primarily that I could see them... other trees nearby were maples. No fruit trees. I was wondering if they could have been mating. It's been a warmer than usual summer... then we had a week of cool days with chilly nights. Now it's warm and humid again, and possibly they think it's spring...?
